The Venturer was a Terran Federation Colonial VIII colony ship launched from Miami Spaceport in May, 2219. 200 days later, it landed on Laguna 9; the subsequent destruction of it and its 400+ colonists and crew by the Terran/Lagunans set the groundwork for the Laguna Wars.
